We recently had a Drone Commander built for us by the amazingly talented Eric Archer of Austin Texas. It’s a very fun piece of gear. I created this brief (8min) demonstration track where I connected the clock output of the Drone Commander to Keyboard TRIG-IN of a Korg MS-20. Download Track

Loop12, along with Dallas’ local, The Great Tyrant, The Watchers, Convextion and DJ Per will be performing at Sons of Hermann Hall on May 2, 2009.

J. Orion and Tommy Boy, who provided the video projections at the recent Butthole Surfers show in Dallas will also be in full effect throughout the evening.

Doors open and DJ Per begins at 9pm.

Good Records of Dallas is now exclusively carrying a limited supply of physical CDs of the Loop12 albums released around the beginning of 2008. These were previously (and still) only available as digital downloads elsewhere (iTunes, Amazon, etc). Also, be on the lookout for a new CD release during the first part of 2009. Please support your local record stores and artists.

Loop12 will be playing several sets at this year’s Disturbathon in Dallas. We will be intermixing live improvised material along with DJ material all night as well as providing audio throughout other “areas” at the event.

Disturbathon is an invite only event so we sorry that we cannot provide any more details. If you would like to attend, ask everyone you know if they know anyone that can get you an invite. We plan to record, so if all goes well, we should have a download available shortly thereafter.
